After watching Tina Fey win several awards this season and hearing raves amongst friends, I gave into the 30 Rock DVDs while I was sick last week. I have always loved Tina Fey and her character in this is a great, flawed female lead and Alec Baldwin is genius. He is good in everything he does and the texture of his voice still brings me back to beauty of The Royal Tenenbaums. I have never been a Tracy Morgan fan but he is perfectly cast as the eccentric TV star. I enjoyed the show and will definitely keep watching but I think maybe my expectations were a bit too high.
