I recently visited the new New Museum on Bowery. It was great and beautifully built. We went to check out the current exhibit, Unmonumental which was being displayed on three floors. There was definitely some questionable choices but two artists really stuck out amongst the collection, Kim Jones and Christian Holstad. Kim uses himself as the model for his pieces, he is also known as the Mud Man. Christian's pieces were particularly amazing and well crafted. The top floor of the museum has stunning views of the city and a low key lounge that gets great sun. Definitely worth its $12 admission fee.
