P.S. 1 is one of the more fun summer outings on the weekends here is NY and each year they commission designs from several artists to create an outdoor landscape conducive for drinking and dancing for their large courtyard. The past winners have features waiting pools, sand and large sculptures. This year's winners are Dan Wood and Amale Andraos, the husband-and-wife team behind Work Architecture. Their idea was to create an urban farm with a harvesting plan and lots of produce. The image submitted is pretty cool, looking forward to seeing what it looks like in reality. (NY Times)
