Sprinkles Cupcakes is an institution in LA, the cupcakes are nothing short of dreamy and their selection is better then anyplace in NY. I am a huge fan of the cake mix you can buy at Williams Sonoma. I have made the lemon, red velvet and pumpkin ones. They are it more involved then a regular cake mix and the frosting has to be done by scratch but it's all worth it. They even come with the cute little sugar dot that is the signature of all Sprinkles' cupcakes. I try to keep a mix on hand at all times in case I need to bring something to a gathering or just want a treat.Tuesday, February 12, 2008
